Short Story 1

 No one knows when the storm started because it's been here as long as anyone can remember. The island of Unmei was a beautiful little location with one giant glaring problem, there was no way out. The winds that surround the entire island are so strong, no ship or boat can make it through. Not that anyone has ever tried at this point, besides how difficult it would be just to get close to it, it's basically guaranteed doom if you do get close.  Mia stared out her window looking past her slight reflection onto the coast of the island where she could see part of the storm. She did this a lot. Her imagination would take her to places beyond the storm, outside of this island that felt like a prison to her. It's probably something a lot of young adults her age do, given the circumstances. Unmei Chapter One - TEST

A few months ago I posted a short idea for a story I was working on. This is kind of a follow-up to that story, a little introduction of sorts. It's still just an idea that needs a lot of work so I'm just showing this to try to get feedback and see if it actually sounds interesting. Sample 1: Set Piece Idea THE CAVE

I am by no means a professional writer of any kind, anyone who's read my previous blog knows that. But anyway. While I'm not doing movie reviews anymore, I still wanted to keep writing because I quite enjoy doing it. So I decided to make this new blog page where I'll post more original stuff and ideas for stories and try to get some critiquing or just give people an idea of the things that I like writing about. Feel free to tell me how good or bad it is, I actually want to improve and try to make some good stuff in the future, maybe? So this first post is a sample from an original story I've been working on for a while now. It's going to be an adventure story with some fantasy elements. I still have a lot of work to put into it before it's...actually good, but this is kinda the basic idea of how it's gonna be.
